The personal side

THOMALEX / STRENGTH & BODYBUILDING

Strength.
Built over time.

A deep interest in lifting weights.
A lasting love for bodybuilding.

The training, the physique, and the process behind both. This is the part of my life that happens in the gym — and a place to keep a record as it develops.

01 / THE WORK

More than
a session.

Lifting weights and bodybuilding are a real passion of mine. I enjoy the physical effort, but also the attention to detail: how a movement feels, how a physique develops, and how individual sessions become part of something longer.

The classic bodybuilding imagery is part of the appeal. The Arnold photograph above captures the training behind the physique — an aspect of that era I wanted to make room for here.

01 / LIFTING

The work itself.

The focus of a set. The feel of a movement. Time spent getting to know what I can do with the weights.

02 / BODYBUILDING

The bigger picture.

Muscle, proportion, and the detail of building a physique. An interest that goes beyond a single number on a bar.

03 / KEEPING A RECORD

Something to look back on.

A training log gives the sessions a place to live. I'm beginning to build mine on Hevy, one entry at a time.

02 / TRAINING LOG

The sessions,
written down.

I've recently started using Hevy, so the history there is still growing. This is where my sessions and training history come together. You can also find me directly on Hevy.
